Leisure....Leisure....What is Leisure??

This is a picture that depicts what leisure is to me. In this picture I am on the quad at U of I relaxing in the grass area doing homework. I love to come to the quad and just sit out and relax if I had a long day. Most of the time I don't do homework but on this particular day I was swamped with work. I love to feel the light breeze across my face and hear all the sounds of nature around me. It keeps me calm and helps me relieve all the stress that have inside of me. I am the type of person that loves to relax in my free time so this picture is a perfect indication of what leisure is to me.

My definition of leisure is the time that you have after any work or school. Leisure is doing anything that you want in that free time. Whether that leisure is laying in the bed doing nothing or jogging around the block. I am a big believer in Aristotle's theory that Leisure is a "state of being". No matter what a person wants to do in their leisure time, If that activity is pleasing to them then it is still leisure.
